5 singing Reed Warblers at Jack Lane but only short bursts, plus 1 Reed Bunting and another 2 west of the Hill.
Also west of the Hill was a Willow Tit.
An adult Herring Gull was with 2 Lesser Black-backs on Wellacre College.
Just seen an adult Herring Gull with an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull on Stott Drive. I'm not surprised by the LBB sighting but a bit surprised with the Herring Gull.

Female Goldeneye still just downstream of Irlam Locks, along with 3 Great Crested Grebes.
100+ Starlings on the ETW. Also 1 House Martin, 6 Sand Martins and 6 Swallows.
2 singing Garden Warblers and a singing Goldcrest on the Hill. Along with 4 Whitethroats, 5 Blackcaps, 2 Willow Warblers and 4 Chiffchaffs.

Just an afternoon walk down to the ETW and Canal.
First time for me was a female Goldeneye moving/diving along the Irlam bank, downstream of the locks. Oystercatcher 1 Sand Martin 6+ House Martin 1 Swallow 10+ Grey Heron 2 Cormorant 2 Gadwall 1 male, 1 female. Mallard 20+ Pied Wagtail 2 Starling 30+ Black-headed Gull 50+ Canada Geese 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull 1 etc.

14 Common Gulls on Wellacre College field, along with 60+ Black-headed Gulls, 5 Jackdaws, 6 Rooks and a Grey Heron.
Seen from/on Fly Ash Hill were 1 Lapwing, 1 Buzzard, 1 female Kestrel and a male and female Goosander.

Looked to be 150+ Lapwing along the Mile Road, yesterday, Tuesday, November 6th. A bit difficult to be sure whilst driving!
Good numbers of hirundines over Flixton ETW this afternoon. Very, very rough estimate of 100+ Swallows, 100+ House Martins and 10+ Sand Martins. Also 20+ Pied Wagtails.

A few highlights from my Stott Drive to Fly Ash Hill and along to the Canal.
Goldcrest. 2 singing...good to hear for someone of my age! Ringed-neck Parakeet. At least 2 in wood behind Wellacre College field. Also a Nuthatch in the wood and 5 Lesser Black-backed Gulls on the field along with 50+ Black-headed Gulls, a Rook and a Jackdaw. Buzzard 2

1 singing Willow Tit at Jack Lane, with another seen further along the path towards the Canal. 1 male Blackcap seen at Jack Lane and 1 singing near the Canal.
Total of 10 singing Chiffchaffs but no Willow Warblers as yet.
A Kestrel put up a single Common Snipe on the newly ploughed fields adjacent to the mile road, Flixton around midday. A Sparrowhawk also passed over.
