Kestrel - 4 - 2 constantly chasing each other on the North side all morning, seem to be some sort of juvenile, adult interaction as occasionally the 2 1st Winter birds were joined by the Adult Male which presumably was trying to chase them away before food becomes harder to get in winter.

Much of the site was suffering massive disturbance again this morning the East and middle pool already disturbed when I arrived ,so pretty much birdless, the middle pool had a fool with 3 gun dogs he could not get back out of the water and he spent the morning screaming at them to the point he could be heard half mile away hecwas still there after 2 hours, the landfill had a drone flyer and a stunt motorized hanglider was buzzing across the Eastern arable. Think I need another new patch .

Amazing lack of birds on landfill today how you can zig zag 3 miles past arable land and perfect chat habitat and not see a bird shows the total reduction in bird numbers compared to the recent past only difference Dogwalkers are now allowed to do as they wish on the site it was like crufts up there today and completely birdless apart from 2 kestrels overhead.
