Well Gentlemen it appears the 10th July 2009 is a definite date for our next meeting.
The Tansy Green Public house in Bolton is the preferred venue, time 8, oclock onwards, and the main evening toast will be for all those GM birders that were
40 YEARS OLD THIS WEEK happy 40th Ian.

Things have been quiet of late apart from Glaucous Gull at Audi last Saturday the rest has just been run of the mill from my trips to Pennington and Astley as well as Audenshaw.
We'll just have to see what today brings as I have been given full blessings to be in the field all day including gull roost at Audenshaw this afternoon

Although it has always been a shadowy area, there have been geniune letters of how to join the 200 club, and I have replied and set the records straight, however I would just like to inform you that the GREATER MANCHESTER 1000 CLUB has just been formed on the flowerly and fluffy website, run by Mr Winnard.
He is going to attempt to see 1000 species of flora and fauna in GM, now that a club to be proud of.

How disrepectful Mr Cliff, it was a very pleasent evening,and the location was superb.Many Thanks to all that turned up, it was the best night out this year!
As for the presentations, it all went well shame Mr McKercher was unable to attend, and get his tournament prize for his outstanding effort this year. I will get it to him this week.
The discussion as to whether or not we should become the 210 club was rejected, and most thought we should just be Mancy Birders as for the M&S suggestion that to was rejected.
As you would expect from our meeting loads of off the wall subjects were discussed, and many a laugh was had, but the toast to Mr McKerchar for his excellent website and information service was a noisy affair,well done that man.
Great night out hope to do it again soon.

Its a pleasure to have you as our newest member well done that man, but as to why you were driving around the M60 on a frosty night we can only wonder But I do recall a certain daylist event coming up soon as its my theory that someone is practising how to get between sites in the quickest way, a clever ploy young man, and good luck with the attempt.
