Plenty of young Blue and Great tits at the feeders with Goldfinch adults and young as well, also one or two Greenfinch's and a pair of Chaffinch today. Surprisingly a Chiffchaff showed for a while as well which is a little unusual as I tend to get a few in September/October rather than this early.

We don't normally get any gulls at all in our back gardens, although they do fly overhead as they go to roost.
Knowing what gulls are like I'd guess at a bag of chips.

Me, my wife and daughter were in our garden at tea time when a male Sparrowhawk blazed in and tried to snatch a Blue Tit from the feeders. It chased it round the back of the shed and almost caught it at one point before it gave up and flew to the tree at the top of the garden. All this happened literally five yards in front of us. A brilliant sight and over in the blink of an eye too.

Blackbirds, Starlings, House Sparrows, Robins (and obviously the Magpies) will eat most things we put out, we always know when the Blackbirds and Robins chicks have hatched as the last few years they seem to almost beg for cheese inparticular.
