28th October.
4 drake Pochard here this morning, plus a flock of c40 Redwing.
There were 13 Gadwall and c55 Tufted Duck here last Sunday (21/10). Numbers of both these species appeared to be down somewhat today, with the Tufted Duck count only around half of that noted last week. It was also nice to meet and to have a good natter with Tony Hill at Blackleach last Sunday morning.
Cheers,
Bill.
