Spent Sunday wandering round the Fylde area.
Nice views of the Ross's Gooose with approx 2500 Pink-feet.
Picked up a Purple Sandpiper with the Turnstones and Redshank on Fleetwood boating lake
Spent high tide watching the waders at Fluke Hall - Oystercatchers, Grey Plovers, Sanderling, Dunlin etc
Female Merlin showing very well at Pilling Lane Ends plus Whooper Swans, more Pink-feet, lots of Curlews and a Raven
Then went to Warton to watch the Glossy Ibis plus Whooper and Bewick's Swans
Finally to Lytham for Ring-necked Parakeet and thousands of Knot on the shore - didn't know about the Caspian Gull at the crem.
Beautiful day and cracking birding!
