About 10.30am - was out on a group walk with some friends, without my camera, when we spotted 3 Buzzards giving grief to a very fine Osprey over the W end of Diggle Flash and the Stock Pond. It made a few circuits not that far above our heads, almost dived into the Stock Pond for a fish, thought better of it, and flew off to the north. At the same time, there was a Peregrine high overhead, and a Kestrel hunting over the N bank of Diggle Flash.
A magical birding moment for sure, and the Osprey a site first for me!
1 Cetti's Warbler - flew low across reeds in ditch either side of loud burst of song. 2 Little ringed Plover 2 Grasshopper Warbler 3 Reed Warbler 3 Snipe
