visit this afternoon- 5-6pm.
Mixed pied and white wagtails but no sign of the yellow, several wheatears and plenty of meadow pipits at the central point.
However real reason for the post at 5.35 I was walking northwards along the eastern edge and saw a bird whose call i didn't recognise flying towards me, at first thought it was a parakeet but as it went over it was a cockatiel- I see there is a record in April 2007 on the forum but has anyone else seen one flying around- is it a one off escapee?
