A distant skein of c150 heading west over the Wigan Flashes area at about 15:30 this afternoon. I was some distance away at Bamfurlong, and the geese were already well west of me when I first caught sight of them, so there was no chance of an accurate count

Not quite in county but a trip to Cumbria and back today saw loads of skeins of geese on the move moving south and east particularly from the Morecambe bay area... hopefully some of them were Pinks heading this way but there were also movements of Canadas.
