My bad, i apologies I forgot to add a post last year on my way to chorley .....(31st dec). A gadwall was seen showing well on a pool of the flooded fields along the canal and there were some redwings in the area too! Ta!

A nice little Potter about today, highlights include;
Redwings showing well dispite constant flushing by passerbys (right next to a busy public path). Fieldfare Song thrush showing well Grey wagtail Common gulls Goosander Teal Kingfisher 2 little egrets (after one in flight) with 3 or 4 grey herons Plus the usual
