Just been talking to my guy in our warehouse at work and he said ohhh meant to tell you about these birds I saw Mon lunchtime. Described them as light with a big tuft on head so I showed him waxwing pics and he said oh yes thats exactly them....so it seems about 30 waxwings in the Village car park Trafford Park on Monday at about 11-45am.

Also present by Main Entrance on Greenacres Road, a similar size flock of starlings! As I was catching the bus back (1.15 p.m.) one of these flocks left high and south but I can't say for certain which one.
BTW Constantine St. entrance is a pedestrian one, the parking is across the road.

There were a flock of waxwings just out of Stockport town centre this afternoon (just before 1pm). In trees on Lawrence Street, which is just off the A6, behind the library. I thought I saw a flock there last week but did not get a good enough look to be sure, but they were definite today!

Thanks to the postings in the last couple of days we went to Greenacres Cemetary this afternoon, arrived about 1.45, and spent over an hour watching 35 waxwings.
As previously mentioned, they were right opposite the little triangular parking area, preening themselves in the tops of the trees near the cemetary entrance, or eating the white berries in the trees by the gate, when they weren't being chased off by the thrushes that is!
They were still there when we left at 3.00, and I would think that they may still be there tomorrow as there are berries left, although not many, and they are going fast, when they actually get near them that is!

About 30 today in the trees at the end of my garden.

Alerted by the noise they made, like a persistent higher pitched version of the noise that Long Tailed Tits make.
First time I've ever seen any.

5 waxwings on Sunfield Estate, Romiley around 12.15 - 12.30 this afternoon. Unfortunately, the mistle thrush pair would again not allow them to settle in trees even at a distance of 70-80 meters from 'their' berry tree (although one waxwing did get close enough so as to be within five meters of my front door at first). No sign of them on a walk around the rest of the estate at 2.00 p.m.

Most of the trees where the Waxwings have been showing recently around Wigan Town Centre are now rid of berries apart from one tree on Hardybutts which is still fully laden for some reason.

Still time, if only the mistle thrushes would push off from the white berry bearing tree outside my front door that the waxwings came to a couple of years back. It will take more than four to move the resident pair.

At 9-00am I counted 66 in the trees across the road from Woodley precinct. They were attempting to land in the tree nearest the coffee shop, but were reluctant to due to a pair of Mistle thrushes. I did witness them land in it with the Mistle thrushes present, but they didn't stop long. At 3-00pm they decamped to the Poplar trees off George Lane, I assume for the night. The Mistle thrush has saved about 10% of the berries on one tree, for now!
