morning dog walk first hour dry but windy after that wet and windy, C8 1 stonechat, 7 meadow pipit, 1 reed bunting,1 kestrel,1 buzzard, small numbers blue and great tit,wren, magpie, wood pigeon, carrion crow, flock of c60 goldfinch in field + 17 with a single goldcrest in trees at bottom of new road, water rail heard only from choked pond, C9 2 goldeneye 1m, 1f, coot, tufted duck, great crested grebe, mallard, 1 pheasant, blackbird, dunnock.

Fairly sure I heard a Willow Tit in the trees next to Smiths Lane Car Park this morning 10.00am... same spot as a few weeks ago. tried playing calls off my phone but didn't get a reply :(

wet and very windy not much showing birdwise the main highlight being a grey wagtail on the path above diggle flash, common snipe flushed, jay, 3 meadow pipit,long tailed tit, robin, blackbird,diggle flash had the usual coot, tufted duck, black headed gull, great crested grebe, mallard and 2 mute swan, even the magpie and wood pigeon were very low numbers and i didn't see any carrion crow.
