No sign of Pied Flycatcher or Cuckoo this morning but a stunning Lesser Whitethroat my first this year and at least 3 Grasshopper Warblers. Plenty other Warblers singing with Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Blackcap all in fine voice. A male Kestrel was giving good views hunting on the banks of Westleigh brook and the resident Grey Wagtails also present. A single male Yellowhammer was seen and decent numbers of singing Skylark both at Pickley Green and around the Abbey Lane area.

13 Lesser redpoll were the higlights this morning around Pickley green, also 1 Kestrel and a Buzzard also gave good views both birds perched in trees. 3 Bullfinch 2 Common Snipe 1 Goldcrest 3 Mistle thrush 1 Song thrush No Redwing or Feildfare this morning. 1 Reed bunting 3 Meadow pipit 1 Skylark Goldfinch,Chaffinch and Greenfinch all seen, First Greenfinch seen for a while. Small Tit flock, Including Blue,Great and Long tailed, and the usual Robin and Blackbird in good numbers. There was also plenty of Woodpigeon about.
Nothing much to add to previous visits but managed good views of 11 Feildfare and a stunning Buzzard. Also Water rail heard near flood.

No Redwing or Feildfare this morning.

Goldfinch,Chaffinch and Greenfinch all seen, First Greenfinch seen for a while.
Small Tit flock, Including Blue,Great and Long tailed, and the usual Robin and Blackbird in good numbers.
There was also plenty of Woodpigeon about.
A nice morning but still a bit chilly.
