2W Little Gull flew off NE at 6:05pm with a small group of Black-headed Gulls, presumably to roost at Delph Reservoir.
11 Pink-footed Geese flew SW, plus 8 Redwing and a Chiffchaff.

From Fall Birch road 12:30pm to Res. Kestrel - 2. Buzzard - 2. Jay - 1. Dunnock - 1.
At the Res :-
Pied wagtail - 12 at least. Reed bunting - 1. Meadow pipit - 12. Buzzard - 3 . Little Grebe - 10. Little Gull 2W - 1 giving great close up views over the boathouse path. But a other birder said the Scaup was scared off by the boats at 12: 45 Doh !

Also a very close encounter with a female sparrowhawk which put the pipits in a panic about my head and nearly knocked my cap off!

No sign of the grebes this morning between 10 and 11:30. Grasshopper warbler reeling and eventually seen in scrub to west of the reservoir. Nice to meet Sinead and Ian and another chap who's name I didn't get.
