5 skeins over Manchester approx 500, 250, 100, 80 and 150 at 8.18 all East/SE then 400 at 10.30
over Elton
Skeins SE 28 and 26 SE at 8.33 55 at 9am 131 at 9.20 and 197 at 10.40 (all right over head) and then 120, 33 and 80 flew west at 8.50
just a few geese on the move this morning.

256 east over Astley at 12.50,apparently Martin Mere has had record numbers of Pinks this autumn so hopefully should be a lot more flying over us.

Huge numbers of Pink-Footed Geese over Boothstown heading east in nine or ten skeins at 8am this morning. Estimated numbers in excess of 2000. Incredible sight, never seen so many this side of Norfolk or Scotland. All flown through in a 5 minute period.

I was very lucky to see 3 shallow V shaped skeins flew high over newton heath at 17:03 hrs right on cue as I walked out of work, their calling was just about audible.

Approx 500 birds going east at 5pm over Astley,can't remember seeing birds going east so late in the day,usually afternoon birds are heading west,easterly birds tend to be in the morning.

3 skeins totaling c400( 180-200, 120-140,80-100,) birds over Bickershaw rucks @09-40 all originally heading south then turning east, the smaller skein then did a full about turn heading south west before turning again heading west the last i saw of them.
