A quick look at LWMoss after the rain, plenty of Swifts feeding over the reserve. Redshsnk,3 Oystercatchers,Curlew, and a couple of Yellow Wagtails. A cream headed Marsh Harrier hunting over the northern end of the reserve(probably the same bird Pete and I had over Croxtons yesterday). Spent 10 mins watching a Hobby feeding within a big flock of Swifts, interestingly neither birds seemed interested in the other, presumably enough insects up there to keep the Hobby happy, certainly the Swifts didn't seem at all bothered by its presence and were at time flying within a few feet of it !!!
