Difficult to fully count, at distance, as have no scope for another week or so.

Check of Dam and Lock Lane this morning:
4 Tufted Duck at Dam also a whiter duck possibly a Goosander left the channel at the top end, as I put my scope up. I Great Crested Grebe Mallards/ Moorhen. A Pair of Gadwall showed well, in sunshine, on the flooded field. Also Grey Heron(over) , 2 Pied Wagtail, Mallards. and at least 40 Wood pigeon about. Plenty Chaffinch and House Sparrows.
10.30am 2 Chiffchaff chased across the Wild Flower meadow and showed well along the hedge. Dam and Flood quiet.

I had a stroll down Lock Lane about 15-30--16-30 there were then 2 little ringed plover, 5 pied wagtail, 1 white wagtail, and briefly before flying off in direction of Rumworth Lodge 1 dunlin all showing on floods, 4 swallow 2 on telephone wires near farm and 2 over field near floods.
on, in east and south fields.
At the now much reduced flood at 6.15 :

2 Chiffchaff chased across the Wild Flower meadow and showed well along the hedge.
Dam and Flood quiet.
A Skylark flew in at 11:44; still a scarce bird here and also present were 50 Meadow Pipits flew over north plus another 30 down. 2 Redshank
