Bwteeen 09:40 and 10:40 six skeins of approximately 70; 100; 45; 55; 70 and 120 all heading approximately east over the Sinderland Green area of Carrington Moss. The last two skeins crossed paths and about 20 birds left the smaller skein for the larger.

44 E over Skitters Wood at 10:05, but flying low and slowly, 5 broke off for a while, but they all headed low ENE. 5 still circling the area a few minutes later. Possibly the same group of 44 as earlier?

Most likely the same flock Mark, and you are correct, that they will be probably heading for Norfolk. We should see a lot more in the next 2-3 weeks as they disperse from the Lancashire mosslands and head towards Norfolk as well.

I also saw what I estimate to be 800 or so Pink-feet heading east over A34 Kingsway on Gatley, Cheadle border at 10.25am. I heard them before I saw them,a fantastic spectacle for me also. I was also told that they were seen overflying Disley this morning, Would they be heading for Norfolk? All the best and GOOD BIRDING!
