Yellow-legged Gull present on Lower Res at 1300hrs then flew towards High Moor tip at 1410hrs.

Belated news for 27th February
Oystercatcher 3 Curlew - heard but not seen Cormorant 10 Golden Plover 20 flying over the noddle (Tony Mather had heard them flying over Thurston Clough at night on 23rd Feb along with Curlew) Woodpigeon 43 Lapwing4 Tufted Duck - 2 males Hull Lodge Starling 400 Fieldfare 40 Goosander 4 (3 m 1 f)
There was a large and very mobile gull flock, mainly BH & LB, but whilst I was enjoying the glorious, bright spring sunshine, it did make it tricky to sort through the gulls. I'll leave that to Graham, though he hadn't found any Icelandic types when we spoke.

More and more Meadow Pipits appeared after each heavy downpour, with over 90 birds present on the dam banking between the reservoirs.
Highlight was a Sand Martin flying west over the top reservoir and lost to view over the lower res.
