Evening stroll approx 25 hirundines hawking over diggle flash 10-12 each of swallow and swift + 3 house Martin, 9 Canada geese over, 17 lesser black backed gull heading to roost.

A great crested grebe viciously attacked a little grebe as they both surfaced close together probably chasing the same food source,

morning dog walk quite windy pretty quiet only birds in any numbers being wood pigeon and goldfinch with flocks of c40, 14, 9 and 6, even the magpie 6 and carrion crow 4 were in small numbers, the highlights were a willow tit and a pheasant with chicks only actually saw 1 chick as the mother ushered back into the cover of the long grass but presume more were in cover, 3 long tailed tit, 1 meadow pipit, 3 reed bunting,kestrel

not much to add to Gordon and Scotts sightings- 3 little grebe on diggle flash along with the usuals, 2 small flocks long tailed tit, the kestrels were having a good day saw 2 this morning and like Scott saw 1 catch prey. 1 swift, 5 swallow, 2 house martin.
