Diggle Flash- 4 adult great crested grebe 7 young, 18 tufted duck, 29 coot, 23 black headed gull, 8 mallard, 2 little grebe, 2 moorhen, 2 mute swan + 2 cygnets, 5 lesser black backed gull over, flock of approx 20 mainly great tit but with a few blue tit, C8 2 reed bunting, 2 pheasant, 2 grey partridge, as Gordon says a few meadow pipit over quite high.

Diggle flash- I was amazed to see that both pairs of great crested grebe have young I could see the pair with 4 young and could see the male of the other pair dancing around in front of the female when 3 young humbugs jumped down from her back so what yesterday looked like a small courtship dance was probably the male bringing food, 22 coot,21 black headed gull,14 tufted duck,5 mallard,4 moorhen,kestrel,goldfinch,great tit,blue tit,blackbird,dunnock,magpie,carrion crow,wood pigeon,2 skylark,2 reed bunting,1 meadow pipit.

Diggle Flash- 2 great crested grebe the female had at least 2 young on her back first saw them yesterday evening but not been able to get a really clear view, 14 tufted duck, 23 coot, 9 mallard, 2 moorhen, 6 black headed gull, 1 little grebe, 2 mute swan + 2 cygnets, 1 jay, 3 long tailed tit with small flock great tit, 4 blue tit.
