yesterday evening 2 large toads, 2 decent sized frogs,

1 red admiral, 20+ speckled wood butterfly, 4 common darter, 3 brown hawker.

5x eyed ladybird, 7x small black caterpillar possible peacock.

20+ speckled wood butterfly, several common darter and 2 brown hawker dragonfly,

2 brown hairy caterpillar I think small tortoiseshell,1 toad, 2 frogs,

Fox close to choke pond at bottom of new road, several small frogs on paths around diggle flash

almost exactly 12 hours later fox trotting down the same place as yesterday

good numbers of dragon/damselfly in the late morning sun double figures of 4 spot chaser at least 7 common darter, 1 broad bodied chaser, several brown hawker, 20+ common blue damselfly, 1 common blue butterfly first for a few weeks, 1 cinnabar moth caterpillar, usual meadow brown, gatekeeper and white butterflies

fox darted across the road to nowhere @ 07-20 this morning

4 common darter around the drainage/overflow ditch

good numbers of gatekeeper 50+ and meadow brown30+butterfly this morning, 7 large white, a few speckled wood, decent numbers of dragonfly although my dragonfly id needs some work i did recognise 4 spot chaser, common hawker, black tailed skimmer and broad bodied chaser,

dead shrew on path, several dragonfly at least 3 with green bodies not sure of species, 2 four spot chasers,

Fox near old car park again this morning almost exactly the same spot as yesterday evening, 2 grey squirrel, 11 rabbit, 3 black tailed skimmer,

Evening stroll, fox near old car park @20-55, 3 medium sized and 1 large toad, 3 bats I think pipistrelle but not sure,

Quick glimpse of a fox this morning, dead shrew on new road,

young fox on path above diggle flash @ 16-32,

healthy looking dog fox@08-10 this morning, plenty of rabbits well into double figures, good numbers gatekeeper and meadow brown butterflys, few speckled wood and small white, 1 large white, broad bodied chaser and black tailed skimmer dragonfly,

2 four spot chasers, 1 common darter not 100% sure, plenty of meadow brown and gatekeeper butterfly.

3 bats flitting about this evening, i think pipistrelle but not 100% sure

plenty of gatekeeper butterfly this morning although i didn't keep count i would say at least 50, good numbers also of meadow brown c30, and speckled wood c20,

weasel darted across new road @ 08-05 this am

11 gatekeeper butterfly, good numbers speckled wood and meadow brown, 2 red admiral, good numbers blue damselfly and a dragonfly that after looking at my id book seems to be a black tailed skimmer.

3 gatekeeper butterfly, several speckled wood and meadow brown, 2 common blue, 1 six spot burnett moth, plenty blue and blue tailed damselfly, 2 4 spot chaser dragonfly,

gatekeeper butterfly my first of the year, several meadow brown, 95% certain i saw a painted lady, 3 barred yellow moths, 5 six spot burnett moths,

2 foxes this morning or possibly same fox in two different places, first seen near kissing gate seemed to be coming back from houses across road, second sighting near current anglers car park for diggle flash.

plenty of speckled wood butterfly this morning 30+, meadow brown, 2 six spot burnet moths, 4 spot chaser dragonfly, blue and blue tailed damselfly, squirrels and rabbits.

brief glimpse of a fox this morning, speckled wood, meadow brown and common blue butterflys, fox moth, and again plenty of small frogs on the move, several blue damselfly.

4 spot chaser, decent numbers common blue and blue tailed damselfly

Approx 80 small frogs on path this morning, plenty of rabbits,

A few small frogs on path around diggle flash, 3 six spot Burnett moths,

c200 small frogs around diggle flash this evening all about 10mm in length, c70 snails along the length of the road to nowhere,

2 six spot Burnett and 1 cinnabar moth

weasel crossed road to nowhere @17-15

at least 30 meadow brown butterfly, a few speckled wood, common blue, 5 six spot burnett moths, loads of common blue damselfly including some very small probably from a pretty recent hatch, several 4 spot chasers, common darter and i think 2 banded demoiselle
