At the site of Event City, from the bus as we passed at half six, 60+ black-headed gulls plus 20+ lesser black-backs and at least two herring gulls. As we passed Fives earlier on there were three-figure numbers of black-headed gulls and a couple of dozen lesser black-backs plus more of both flying about.

Peregrine (1) on top of letter 'E' of BEYOND indoor ski centre (on the Trafford Centre side). First time I have seen it on this location for a while now that the work on roof seems to be completed. There also appeared to be a small plastic dummy bird on the top corner which did not put off the peregrine!
Mediterranean Gull (1 adult) seen on concrete base that was formerly FIVES. Recent rain has produced a nice mini lake for the gulls. Thanks to posts from Pete Hines and Phil Kelly or else I probably would not have scanned the gulls. I did quick scan at distance so there may have been more.

I have been seeing a very large number of gulls recently hanging around mellors Road just off Trafford Park Road, all the years of working in Trafford Park I have noticed it but never paid to much attention to it, so yesterday after work just before 7pm I actually drove down mellors road, it's a dead end down there but all the gulls are hanging around there as there is a recycling centre called s Norton & Co. Not great viewing when close up there, you don't see as many gulls that are actually there but I would give an approximate guess at around 300+ majority Lesser Black backed gulls. A quick photo taken on my mobile whilst parked up, tried not to disturb them by getting out of the car. I will try my best to give it a bit more attention from now on just incase anything looks different. There is a few roost sites in Trafford Park, I have mentioned these in posts in this thread on a number of occasions, Eddie stobart is usually the main one but hard to view, also get them on occasions on kerry logistics which is handy for me as it is next door to my works, better views. I try my best not to skive work when I'm on my late shift
