First visit to Glaslyn this morning. One nest 2km north of the visitor centre with a second nest at Pont Croesor which is across a field to the south of the visitor centre. The male Osprey, Arran, is father to three chicks in the first nest and also currently just eggs in the second. Unfortunately, he is now concentrating all his efforts on female number one. He has not fed female number two since last Saturday and it remains to be seen whether her clutch survives, as she'll have to leave the nest and feed herself shortly. Lovely, scenic area a few miles south of Mount Snowdon. Nice visitor centre with friendly staff.
