Female Sparrowhawk took off into trees between Lidl and Wharfdale Res. home as I walked past at 0730. Briefly alighted in a tree then flew off towards Tesco!

Bridge Inspectors at our place have taken a photo of a used Dippers nest under a bridge on what I think is Pennington Brook they didn't see any birds in the area but this might be where the Dippers that were seen at Pennington Flash came from ?

Sprint training on Leigh Harriers this morning,
1 Oystercatcher over West, Heading for Penny 3 Swallow, 2 flew straight through 1 flycatching over football pitch. Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap heard. Plenty Goldfinch about and a few Starling feeding on football pitch at the side of Leigh Harriers. A Song Thrush was singing and no joke sounded like an American Police siren.
