sunday morning produced 30+teal 1 male shoveller 4 goosander 2m 2f 100+canadal 23 moorhen 6 coot 56 mallard more magpies than you could shake a stick at large flock of ltt lots of woodpigeon also blackbirds,robins,dunnocks and 2 songthrush

This Morning 1 Goldeneye F Mega for here 46 Canada Geese 26 Mallard 10 Teal 4 Shoveler Bad news for here the Farmer as put a pipe in from the flooded field and its now being piped straight in to the Douglas dont know if you are allowed to do this without permission anybody know the rules on this.

a walk along duggy from martland mill today produced 36 teal 18 canada 2 pinkoot 2 heron 1 cormorant 1 buzzard 1 kestrel lots of coot moorhen goldies ltts robin dunnock mallard blackbirds 3 songthrush very good crop of berries on rowans behind pub so hopefully waxwings oh and at least 3 jays being very vocal

cheers bill...........oystercatchers there this morning.also lapwing displaying.still plenty of teal.5 shovellers 2 tuftys 100s of woodpigeon.ditto moorhens.6 coot.sparrowhawk over and 5 songthrush which is encouraging.also heard green pecker call in silver birches so i went round but nothing!also 6 pied wags as wellas usual stuff.

pretty much as previous post only lapwings increased to 5.so a good chance of breeding here.only things different were 3 redpoll and 2 oystercatchers circling but didnt see them land.

green woodpecker calling again today.didnt see it but it was among the trees behind the pond.i was talking to another regular walker up there and he has also heard it in the same region. also today lots of dunnocks robins blackbirds blue,great and long tailed tits as well as: 2 song thrush,4 mistle thrush,4 jays,1 kestrel,1 snipe,12 meadow pipits,20+siskins,40+teal,3 shoveller,5 tuftys,5 goosander,2 lapwings(1st this year here) dozens of moorhen and mallard and loads of seriously bickering canadas.

This Morning 7 Shoveler 47 Canada Geese 34 Teal 26 Mallard 2 Goosanders 3 Song Thrush in full song At Crooke Pub still a few berrys on the trees While the resident Mistle Thrush was in full song at the top of a tree 2 Male Bullfinch sneaked up on the blind side and was walloping the berrys down
