After reading the previous post, I returned here at 3.20pm today:
Adult Iceland Gull. Located at roost, on ice, on the far side of the lower reservoir. Located at 3.35 and observed until it flew out over the dam wall, (and me)at 3.55pm. GM lifer for me...but in the excitement I left my Collins.
P.S. (1) Collins retrieved at 6.30. and (2) the White Winger, that I saw, would appear to be almost summer Plumage.

On arrival , a departing birder said that he had lost the Iceland Gull 10 minutes earlier. 11.45 to 1.50 today with John Parkinson. No sign of the Iceland Gull on either reservoir, (Third birder present for a time). Other sitings: Goosander ...pair Goldeneye f. Kestrel Reed Buntings(regular at the feeders) Greenfinch...2

Also had a sighting of a single Shelduck which took flight from the Upper and came down on the Lower. Unfortunately didn't see it again.
I was also interested that from 1 Cormorant yesterday today I counted 13, certainly the most I have seen at Castleshaw.
