hi zoe, yes when we refer to msc at weaste it will be the ship canal alongside broadway & coronet way opposite the etw (effluent treatment works)

at least 65 lapwings on the dock at Lafarge, Manchester ship canal at weaste possibly several more, plus 2 redshanks. 3 grey herons male & female tufted duck large numbers off pied wagtails moving around Lafarge & etw.

Male goldeneye spotted today around 11.00 am on the main Ship Canal basin, under the Lowry footbridge.
The last autumn Garden Warbler I saw turned out to be a a Barred! Not in NW though...
