4 Wigeon ( 2 pairs) present when I left at 1300hrs.Thanks to Steve for the heads up, and the use of his scope after I bumped into him as he was leaving. Later 2 Buzzards soaring, across the road near the Tavern. In front of the Beaumont Road entrance, a Kestrel was again giving a prolonged display.

Had a walk round this morning 9.10 am to 10.30 am hoping to see the scaup, sadly they'd move off. Saw 2 Kingfishers having a squabble, 8+ Oystercatchers, good numbers of Teal, Gadwall, Lapwing and Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel and a long range view of a Buzzard. Bumped into Steve Almond and Keith Mills during my visit.
