Popped down the dip and round the reservoir towards Withins midday today (12-1ish). Not much more about than what others saw in the morning, other than noticibly more Swifts, with upward of 30 flying about. Also about 5-6 House Martins, still 2-300 Sand Martins and 60+ Swallows. Several Common Tern and Tufted Duck, but no sign of Common Sandpiper, too many dog walkers on the shore lines.
Lapwings and Mallards with chicks, always a nice sight!
Popped into the dip, which had lots of Whitethroat, Blackcap, Willow Warbler and a Chiffchaff calling and a Little Grebe on the pond.
Not visited for a while, so pleasant enough visit, but maybe I'll choose a nicer day next time!
