at least 60 sand martin and 3 swallow feeding high over reserve early afternoon also minimum of 6 singing chiffchaff and 1 feeding on filter beds at works with 12 mipits and 23+ pied wags. 4 singing reed bunting and 7 tree sparrow near glaze.

Just after midday today:
140 Pied Wagtails, 5 Grey Wagtail and 6 Meadow Pipit on the filter beds.
Best of all, a magnificent first site record of Bittern with a single individual moving between two very overgrown sludge lagoons.

No Waxwings this morning but rewarded with a Ring Tailed Hen Harrier which flew off SE towards the Mosses.
Also present Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail and Meadow Pipits by the WTW 5 Goosanders and a Cormorant flew along the line of the Glaze Heron on the Glaze 2 Bullfinchs on the main path and another 6 around the entrance to the Car Park and the roundabout on the Business Park. Reed Buntings, Tree Sparrows and House Sparrows in the hedgerow near the Glaze alond with the usual Tits and Finches. Plus a Wader on the Glaze which I was unfortunately unable to identify.
