Not the best morning, several rogue fisherman camped out on the shoreline, a group of "illegal" mussel pickers scattered about along with several workmen in bright yellow jackets in front of the sailing club flushing what there was, the joys of Elton.
Birdwise best was a juv Yellow Wag - probably Paul's bird from last week amongst the Pied wags. 7+ Common Sand, 2 Ringed Plover and 2 LRP but not alot else.
Oh and we have alot of new signs up around the edge, the "deep mud" signs have been replaced with "deep silt keep out"

Interesting Peter, I faired a little better on the wader front. This am with Paul was single Dunlin, 8 Common Sands and 3 LRP and tonight 2 Dunlin, 7 Common Sands and while sat near the Creek at 7pm I heard the distant call of a Green Sandpiper, which after a few seconds I located not 1 but 2 Green Sands dropping like a stone coming in from the North and landed right by the creek entrance and started feeding away.
