5/5/10 also early morning,
Very little of note so ended up counting every singing Sedge Warbler, got to 12. Wont bore you with the locations but most were at the usual spots.
Also 2 singing Grasshopper Warblers in the marsh. 20 Swift 30 Sand Martin at river

This a.m. with Paul Wilson. As yesterday 3-400 Sand Martin, small number of House Martin(my 1st this year), 2 Ringed Plover and 1 Wheatear in front of boathouse, also 2 Oystercatcher. Cheers Ian

This a.m. 7-9.00 initially 1 Swift present, then suddenly approx 70 birds in the sky, 1 Wheatear also on side of res. Along canal from Crow Trees to Bennies at least 13 singing Sedge Warbler, also near canal 1 Little Owl. Near river 4 Linnet and 2 Whitethroat. Cheers Ian

Whimbrel apparently landed near wader point after being flushed by the cat, according to another birder, and have been flying around on several occasions.
Also around, a few scroats setting camp fires!
