I have been wondering what the commotion was across the road for the past couple of days, and put it down to magpie chicks begging for food.
Today two ring -necked parakeets flew over Reddish Road heading for the CP making the same row.
Its been 7 years since I last saw them in this area.

Eight Ring-necked Parakeets at Chorlton WP this afternoon, a couple on territory and 'singing' repeatedly from their favoured tree. Also one trying it's hardest to dismantle a feeder at the car park feeding station. It failed to do the robust metal feeder any damage, but it wasn't for the want of trying!
