An odd couple of hours on the Rucks from 4-6 today. Oddly quiet with the exception of numerous Willow Warblers - I stopped counting at 30!
Also Water Rail calling in a rusty puddle of reeds 3 Skylark 2 Blackcap
Sparrowhawk high over and 1 Common Buzzard.
No Cuckoo - and no Grasshopper Warblers for me in spite of lurking around their preferred haunt for quite a while. Maybe my hearing got worse since last year?!
