There is a single Mallard chick that was abandoned a couple of weeks ago at only a few days old that is doing quite well fending for itself up until now.

Oystercatcher pair have 2 chicks, 4 Lapwing, 30 Great Crested Grebe with some displaying still, Grey Wagtail, 4 Linnet, Grey Heron, 7 Goosander and 4 Tufted Duck.
Best was 'bathing' in the 1000's of Common Swift flying around. Some coming within inches of my head. Also many Sand and House Martin and 4 Swallow. Magical.

Adult Caspian Gull Adult Mediterranean Gull Scaup 1stW male 2 Redshank 18 Snipe, (flushed from east bank of no1 by some roaming anglers). 8 Pochard 4 Shoveler 3 Gadwall 45+ Goldeneye 30+ Goosander, (numbers of Goldeneye and Goosander build as the light fades so probably finishing up with quite a few more than these counts). 6 Mute Swan 4 adult, 2 immature
The adult Iceland Gull wasn't seen tonight but was in the roost on Friday evening.

Just a snapshot of what there was this morning. 6 snipe, 1 green sandpiper, 1 redshank, 8 pochard, probably 5 gadwall, 4 teal, and the pink-footed geese seen by Steve Burke on that thread also came over about 11.00. (glad to have the approx. number verified).

A flock of 13 Ringed Plover (probably tundra race birds) and 2 Dunlin on no 1 Reservoir this morning, then flew off north. Also 1 Common Sandpiper.

The Whooper Swans had departed.
Of interest the same sinensis Cormorant is regularly is on the Ashton Canal under the M60 motorway when I go past about 7 in the morning.

CY6 was ringed as a cygnet on 30/10/2011 at Reddish Vale and subsequently sighted in 2012 at Chorlton WP and from Dec 2019 at Audenshaw.
