3 Spoonbill currently on no. 1 reservoir (presumably the same birds as flew NE over Neumann's Flash, Cheshire earlier this morning!).

A couple of images of the 3 Spoonbill this morning on number 1. Pity they didn't hang around.
Great sighting whoever found these, and nice to see some familiar faces up there!
- 3 Eurasian Spoonbill on No.1 Res. All 3 feeding well, 2 looked to be immature birds having the pale pinkish bill and black tips to the primaries observed in flight, whereas the other had a dark bill, a small crest behind the head and had all white wings so looked to be more advanced towards adult or even possibly a non-breeding adult? All 3 birds departed S.E. at 9.03am towards Sainsburys and Moores Hat Factory chimney, possibly Stockport (Reddish Vale?)
- 2 Avocet on No.1 Res - 1 Ringed Plover - 2 Oystercatcher with 2 young - 2 Sand Martin - 1 House Martin - lots of Swift - 31 Great Crested Grebe
The 2 images below without time / date details were digiscoped.
