Kestrel 2 Buzzard Sparrowhawk Goldeneye (1 m 3 f flying away) Goosander Gadwall (at least 10) teal tufted duck Pochard (14 or so but all seemed to be male) Wigeon (not entirely sure about this bird, wigeon shaped and coloured mainly like a drake, but missing cream on head) Mute swan (10+) goldcrest blue, great, LT and coal tits chaffinch Jay Redwing Gt Spotted woodpecker nuthatch 2 wren house sparrow siskin redpoll goldfinch
Had several finch flocks, first was just redpoll and golfinch, 20+ birds, but too dispersed to get decent count, then had good flock of the same plus siskin on tip. Had a couple of mins to view and then had my sparrowhawk sighting and that was that. At least 80 birds went up, more than I had realised I was looking at. Didn't relocate them, but had a couple of more sighting of 6 siskin and perhaps 12 goldfinch.
