12 Goosander, 6 on top Res & 6 on bottom definitely different groups of birds. 2 Heron Black Headed Gull 2 Lesser Black Backed Gulls Mallard Strangely no Canada Geese until 12:10 when a rather large and noisy flock flew in from the general direction of Brun Clough. They circled over the upper res and came to rest on the lower. Approx 175 - 200 birds (I'm not very good at counting large groups of birds) including what looked like 1 Greylag hybrid.

Swiftest of visits at 1620. Managed to 'see' 2 redhead goosander on the lower res and a single drake on the top res (new in) Silhouettes of the odd gull and jackdaw. Still no goldeneyes which seems unusual

A grounded flock of 200+ birds on the banks of the Upper reservoir in the early morning mist. Comprising mainly of Meadow Pipits but included 3 Reed Bunting, 20 Chaffinch, 6 Pied Wagtail and 10 Linnet. Left in small groups as the mist lifted as well as a steady passage of Meadow Pipits and chaffinch overhead for the first couple of hours at a rate of 5-6 per minute.
Good numbers of usuals at the feeders including 2 Coal Tit.
