Cheers Bernard, Not a lot to add to Bernards sightings. Cracking views of Water Rail out in the open at New Water. Treecreeper seen around the entrance to Froggy Island, dont see to many on this site. 4 Linnet flew over and into C8 from C6. 5 Lapwing in C10. 2 Great Crested Grebes, Fir Tree Flash.

Scott i was seeing lesser whitethroat earlier in the year close to top of new road but the last time i saw one here was May 5th,

I havn't seen Lesser Whitethroat Scott but pretty sure Bernard has. Male and juvenile Stonechat were perched together early afternoon, singles of House and Sand Martin over Diggle Flash otherwise very quiet.

juvenile stonechat showing really well got a glimpse of what i think was a second but couldn't be 100% sure, 7 whitethroat, 3 sedge warbler showing well at least 2 more heard, 1 grasshopper warbler reeling brief glimpse only, c 15 meadow pipit including juvenile birds, skylark, reed bunting,small numbers swift, diggle flash- 11 tufted duck, c30 coot including juveniles, 2 great crested grebe, 1 moorhen, 3 black headed gulls, male mute swan on stock pond couldn't see female and cygnets probably in reeds all 5 cygnets were still there yesterday evening, 1 house sparrow near stock pond unusual to see them so far down, 2 reed warbler.
