Highlights include:

Plus, in full song includes:
Willow warbler Chiffchaff Blackcap Whitethroat Sedge warbler (an increase in singing birds this morning)
Lesser Whitethroat been singing near canal but distantly.
Unfortunately the Willow Tit nest near the bridge has failed, discovered 10 days ago and I hadn't seen the birds for several days and today I observed a pair of Blue Tits have taken over. (pics of Willow Tits below and Blue Tit)

Could you give me a rough area for the grasshopper warbler please. Haven't seen/heard one in over 40 years. They are very rare in Northern Ireland.

this is my first ever post so hopefully it will be ok
visited Saturday 12th between 08.15 & 09.15 and parked river irwell side just reservoir side of the canal sightings of note
2 kingfisher up and down Irwell
1 little egret flew from res into field before canal
3 redpoll on car park feeders
1 kestrel
